Reclaiming Self Forum House Rules
Reclaiming Self is an online community that encourages free-flowing discussions among its members. The moderators of the site are lenient but still have the authority to temporarily or permanently revoke members’ entitlement to post comments and start or participate in forum discussions, after they have been found to break the forum’s House Rules and Terms of Use upon review of the certain comment/s of specific members.
- All members are expected to be of respectful and polite demeanor at all times. Reclaiming Self offers its members with a safe place for free expression without the fear of discrimination and prejudice. Mutual respect within the members of this community is an essential key to that promise. Aggressive or foul language, name-calling, bullying, trolling, dissemination of malicious or false information about another member, stalking and other forms and attempts of harassment to other members among others will not be tolerated. Comments that receive a high amount of flags will be removed by the moderators without warning to the poster.
- Arguments or disputes are encouraged to be resolved by members maturely. We advise that members to always conduct themselves properly (be courteous, tactful and refrain from using offensive language) to avoid such circumstances. Members could also flag other members’ comments if they believe them to be highly offensive or inappropriate. If a member has been relentlessly harassed or has been picked on by another member, and such behavior is negatively affecting the member's comfortable membership in the forum, they can send the moderators a report (via the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page) so the proper authorities can investigate and help both parties settle their issues.
- Keep the discussions and comments within the topic. If a member wishes to open or inquire about another concern, they should start a new topic in respect to the original poster (OP) and other members who are following the discussion.
- Multiple registration or usernames is not permitted in this forum. A member can only have one active membership or account. Users found to own multiple accounts will be banned from the Reclaiming Self Forum.
- Reclaiming Self is a community whose main goal is to offer support, encouragement and inspiration to its members. Promoting of business or personal interests, spamming, soliciting, posting of personal or commercial advertisements, selling and recruiting is strictly prohibited.
